We're so excited to introduce the newest additions to our much-loved Balmoral wallpaper collection. This launch is a true love letter to the breathtaking beauty of the Scottish Highlands, inspired by our founder's Scottish family heritage.
Drawing inspiration from Great British tradition and the iconic royal residence, our Balmoral collection has always featured a cast of characters set in rich, regal colours. Now, we're building on that legacy with a curated range of new designs that are a refined blend of classic patterns and contemporary charm, ready to bring warmth, texture, and character into your home.
The Inspiration: From Scotland to Your Walls
Our founderโs Scottish family heritage has inspired this new Collection. The genesis of this collection came from days spent exploring the wild and untamed landscapes of Scotland. From the rugged highland peaks to the serene beauty of the Scottish coastline, every vista offered a new colour story. We were captivated by the misty hues of a highland morning, the rich, earthy tones of a peat fire, and the vibrant colours of heather and gorse. We also found ourselves fascinated by the textiles and patterns that have long been a part of Scottish heritage. This led us to our latest obsession: tweed. We're on the edge of our seats with excitement to see what tweed and herringbone patterns come through in the fashion at the Burleigh Horse Trials this year, and we've woven that same textural appreciation into these new designs. And the Collection would not be complete without a tartan, in fact two new tartan designs which create a feeling of warmth and cosiness for your home.
The New Designs
This is our modern interpretation of British heritage, an homage to the enduring elegance of Scottish design. We've introduced four stunning new designs, each with its own story to tell.
Royal Tartan: The quintessential Scottish pattern, reimagined. This design evokes the richness of woven textiles, bringing a sense of heritage and timeless elegance to any space.
Royal Herringbone Tartan: A sophisticated fusion of two classics. This pattern offers a tailored touch, perfect for creating cosy, heritage-inspired spaces or adding a subtle nod to classic design.
Royal Check: Bold and charming, this design adds a playful yet sophisticated element, capturing the timeless appeal of a classic check pattern.
Royal Herringbone: A beautiful, textural weave that adds a subtle pattern and a layer of depth, creating a truly elegant backdrop in any room.

These designs are incredibly versatile. We envision the Royal Tartan bringing a sense of grandeur to a home office or a dining room, while the Royal Herringbone creates a beautifully textural backdrop for a cosy living room.
